DESCRIPTION

Dell Pre-Boot Authentication Driver (PBADRV.sys) 1.0.1.5 allows local users to write to arbitrary physical memory locations and gain privileges via a 0x0022201c IOCTL call. Attackers can exploit this issue to execute arbitrary code in the context of the affected application and gain elevated privileges. Dell Pre-Boot Authentication Driver 1.0.1.5 is vulnerable; other versions may also be affected. The title have been changed to better reflect the underlying component affected
