DESCRIPTION

Disk Images in Apple Mac OS X 10.5.8 and 10.6.x before 10.6.5 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service (memory corruption and application crash) via a crafted UDIF image. Apple Mac OS X is prone to a remote memory corruption vulnerability. Successful exploits may allow attackers to execute arbitrary code in the context of the currently logged-in user; failed exploit attempts will cause denial-of-service conditions. This issue affects Apple Mac OS X 10.6 to 10.6.4 and Mac OS X Server 10.6 to 10.6.4 and Mac OS X 10.5.8 and Mac OS X Server 10.5.8.
